I want to take the time to personally thank you, Joe Wiseman (General Foreman), Brad and all the office and trade personnel for the outstanding work and effort extended by George Wilbur Plumbing on the Courtyards Project, that allowed us to achieve a C of 0 for the South Building. As you are well aware, if we would have been unable to occupy the building before the start of the fall semester, the project would have been considered a failure.

Your troops always extended us the extra effort to meet a demanding schedule. In fact, your plumbing work became the critical path for the project once we were half way through the framing of the building. You helped us develop and maintain a building schedule that allowed us to make-up the 2-1/2 months that we were delayed by permitting and site work. You and Joe showed extraordinary leadership on the project and remained positive through an extremely tough winter. The design/build process we utilized for the mechanical work was carried out to perfection. There were seldom questions, only solutions. The attitude of the GWP members helped us push the rest of the project team.

I've had years of experience working with the best mechanical contractors in Southeast Michigan. No one has cooperated more fully or been more valuable than GWP. Working with you is a pleasure. Now we have two more buildings to complete.

Re: Letter of Recommendation

It is my pleasure to write this letter attesting to the qualifications or Brad Howe in managing the plumbing portion of the U of M School of Public Health project. Brad was the plumbing foreman on this project for Lirnbach Company and was responsible for all plumbing aspects of the construction work. The project consisted of completely gutting and remodeling an existing 5 story building and installing all new utilities and systems for new office spaces.

In leading the plumbing portion Of the work, Brad provided the knowledge, skill and experience necessary to build the spaces as designed and to overcome the numerous "existing conditions" and obstacles that often plague a ronovation project of this type. Brad was Invaluable in resolving all of these issues as well as providing numerous cost saving and value engineering solutions during the course of this project, including coordination problems withother trades.

I would not hesitate to recommend Brad for any position - the skills he exhibits would be a perfect asset to any company or project team. Feel free to contact me if I may provide any additional information.

I have had the privilege of working with The G.F. Wilbur Company at the 322 East Liberty Lofts Project in Ann Arbor Michigan. This project consisted of the construction of a 5 story ground up building, in excess of 7 million dollars. As the General Superintendent on this project for Cornerstone Building Group Inc. I am hereby highly recommending The G.F. Wilbur Company for any size future project they may have the capability to pursue. My personal experience through the duration of this project with Wilbur Plumbing was exceptional. They have proven to be a very competent contractor, with the ability to perform within the constraints of schedule, budget and site specific guidelines. Wilbur Plumbing also has exceptional design/build and budget engineering capabilities. Saving this project substantial costs which were passed on to the owner. An outstanding quality in the Contracting field as this helps to build great relationships and a repeat customer base.
